A shoe rack was designed, hand-drafted, and constructed to provide the function of organizing shoes in a living room. Given the designated space within the living room for the shoe rack, custom specifications, including precise dimensions, were integrated to ensure a perfect fit.

The design and process are incorporated through the following strategies:

• Floor plan, Elevation, section, and isometric drawings were hand-drafted to illustrate the construction of a shoe rack.

• A gap on both the left side and right side legs of the shoe rack provides the function of air circulation since it will be placed next to an air vent.

• A unique molding design around the upper part of the shoe rack creates a distinct character to the furniture.

• Wood type and wood finish were selected for the construction of the furniture.
